PORTAGE RANCH & VILLAGE
Home to ACA, is an inland island in Portage Alaska, "Tomingas Island"is in one of the world's most beautiful valleys. The western half hosts the Alaska Wildlife Center, the eastern half includes Portage Ranch and Portage Village located at the tip of Turn Again Arm with ocean access and with Salmon Streams running on both sides.
Tomingas Island might well be the only place in the world where you can take a round trip float ending up where you started and it's all a natural phenomena, not man made. Waterway Pioneer, Captain Henry Tomingas already with many "Firsts" to his credit and his ranch manager Ani made the first circumnavigation float around the island 5th of August 2023 during the Sturgeon Moon!
